It’s your mac, so make it the way you like! 2 Tablespoons salted butter How to make home alone mac and cheese 1. In a medium saucepan, add macaroni noodles and cover with just enough cold water so they’re covered. Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil over medium high heat. Stir frequently to ensure the noodles don’t stick. Continue to cook until the noodles are al dente and most of the water has evaporated. About 6 minutes. 2. Add the evaporated milk and any seasonings. Bring to a simmer for 1-2 minutes. Turn off the heat, but keep the pan on the same burner. Add the cheeses handfuls at a time, stirring in between each addition until all of the cheese has been added and it has melted together. Taste and adjust salt if necessary and enjoy!
