🍊 Whole Orange Cake – Ultra Moist & No Bitterness

This cake is a real surprise: one whole orange, bold citrus flavor, incredibly moist texture – and no bitterness at all. After baking, the cake is soaked with hot orange syrup, making it soft, juicy, and almost melt-in-your-mouth. A simple recipe with a big wow effect – just the way we love it at Kristastica 🍰✨ 🧾 Ingredients (Measuring cup: 200 ml | Pan: approx. 30×10 cm) 1 large orange 3 eggs 200 ml sugar 7 tbsp neutral vegetable oil 400 ml all-purpose flour 1 packet baking powder For the orange syrup: Juice of 1 orange 1 tbsp sugar 👩‍🍳 Instructions 1️⃣ Wash the orange well, cut into pieces, and remove seeds. 2️⃣ Blend the orange together with the eggs until smooth. 3️⃣ Add sugar and oil, blend briefly. 4️⃣ Mix in flour and baking powder until smooth. 5️⃣ Pour the batter into a parchment-lined pan. 6️⃣ Bake at 170°C / 340°F (top & bottom heat) for 50–60 minutes. 👉 Do a toothpick test after 50 minutes. Syrup: 7️⃣ Bring orange juice and sugar to a short boil. 8️⃣ Pour the hot syrup over the warm cake. 9️⃣ Let it soak in completely.
