In these isolated mountains live the Zemi, a people whose history is deeply intertwined with the Heraka spiritual culture, initiated by the iconic figure of Queen Rani Gaidinliu. Even today, traditions are passed down through weddings, songs, dances, and community rituals that punctuate village life. Despite the arrival of the modern world and external influences, these communities continue to preserve a strong cultural identity and a way of life deeply rooted in nature and ancestral beliefs.
