Christians mark Palm Sunday

Thousands of Christian faithful Sunday thronged places of worship to mark Palm Sunday ahead of the Easter celebrations. Palm Sunday is an annual event marked on the last Sunday before Easter that signifies the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem before his death and resurrection.
