Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Video Games!

Lets go back to 2005 and explore the Star Wars Episode III tie-in videogames like Lego Star Wars, Battlefront 2, the official game adaptation for PS2 and Xbox and much more. We got some videogame gems in 2005 to coincide with the release of Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith in theaters on May 19th. First we got Republic Commando which was an Xbox exclusive and had you playing as an elite squad of Clone Troopers. It was the Galactic Republic and its clones versus the CIS Separatist Battledroids in that game! Then we got Lego Star Wars the Video Game by Travellers Tales and Lucasarts Games. It was on Sony Playstation 2 Nintendo Gamecube and Microsoft Xbox. LEGO Star Wars let you play through the events of Episode 3 ROTS as well as the previous prequel movies ( Episode I The Phantom Menace and Episode II Attack of the Clones). you could play 18 plus stages and control dozens of characters like Yoda, Anakin Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, Padre Amidala, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, the Clones, Mace Windu, Count Dooku, General Grievous, Darth Maul and many more. Star Wars Battlefront 2 the game came out in time for the Episode III DVD in the fall. it was a multiplayer focused game which let you live out your Star Wars warfare fantasies in local and online multiplayer. It had content from the prequels as well as the Star Wars original trilogy. It was a great sequel to the first game which was developed by Pandemic Studios. There's also the console action beat em up game for PS2 and Xbox which had you controlling either Anakin Skywalker or Obi Wan Kenobi and let you play through the movie's story. it also came out for Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS as a side scrolling action game for handhelds. We also got some Plug & Play videogames by Jakks Pacific and a mobile game for cellphones of the time.
