Coast to Crest Challenge, Lake Hodges hike. Fostering a love for the outdoors is a main goal for us as parents. Outdoor adventures are a great way to build memories & life skills. The outdoors is for us ALL, no matter where you come from OR what you look like. Share in our adventures and we hope to motivate you to make your own. The Coast to Crest challenge is organized by the San Dieguito River Conservancy. The 5 hikes showcase great trails in our own back yard in beautiful San Diego, California. A little about our family, Koa is your normal kindergartner who loves YouTube and his iPad. We try to balance him by getting him outdoors and showing him all the cool stuff that nature provides. It’s doesn’t take much $, just a willingness to discover. Zoe is a 1 year old Pit Bull Lab mix, adopted through Labs and More in SD. Despite her intimidating strong physique, she’s a major love bug. Leila, a 7 yr old Chihuahua & Min Pin mix, makes the occasional appearance in our adventures and is probably the biggest nature beast in our household. Enjoy and get outdoors!
