This was the first time I've seen Lenny Kravitz in concert, and I was simply blown away. The theatrics, the showmanship, the vocals and the care and love he had for his fans in the audience was evident. I'm not too familiar with his body of work, but I did know this song, "It Ain't Over, 'Til It's Over," that was an international hit, and it just happens to be one of those songs that stays with you, long after it's over. You know, those songs, that you can't get out of your head after listening to it. "It Ain't Over 'til It's Over" is a song written, produced, and performed by Lenny Kravitz for his second studio album, MAMA SAID (1991). Originally, he had wanted someone like Smokey Robinson to sing the song but his record company persuaded him otherwise. It became his first top-10 hit on the US Billboard Hot 100, reaching #2 to become his highest-peaking song on the chart. Worldwide, the single reached #2 in Canada and peaked within the top 10 in Australia, the Netherlands, and New Zealand. In the United Kingdom, it reached No. 11 on the UK Singles Chart.
