🌊CROSSING 1.2M SPIT BAR - GOLD COAST【90HP OUTBOARD】

After a long day fishing offshore at the FAD outside The Spit at Gold Coast, we returned to shore at around 11am. This would be my 4th time going through the Gold Coast seaway. We were anticipating just over a meter of well. What I didn't consider is that it was also an hour from the bottom of the low tide, meaning that lots of water is gushing out of the seaway, causing higher than expected swell. It was fun time traversing through this water. I don't know if you would consider this as 'crossing the bar', but it was a bit nerve wracking but exiting at the same time.
