Albela Sajan Aayo Re - Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam

Hi guys! Albela Sajan Aayo Re is a classical Hindi song popularized by Ustad Sultan Khan of Indore gharana in the early 1970s. Ustad Sultan Khan sang it in the Bollywood movie, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam along with Shankar Mahadevan and Kavitha Krishnamurthy. The song is based on Raag Ahir bhairav. The music has been composed by Ismail Darbar. The lyrics of the song have been penned by Sameer. The film was released on June 18th, 1999. In the original album release, this song is around 3 minutes 20 seconds. However, when you watch the movie, there are 3 distinct versions of this song and the album release version sadly does not include the chorus at many points. Hence, I decided to compile the 3 versions of the song from the movie so it is longer in duration because it includes alaap at the end and also chorus. I extracted the audio from the movie, I did not use the original album version. Unfortunately, in the movie, the song overlaps with the characters talking, hence , I had to perform some minor cuts to obliterate the "talking" and had to merge and remaster the audio. The bits I removed contained some audio of the song as well but because of the talking, I could not recover the audio. Hopefully, you will enjoy my work. Thank you for listening!
