The Apollo Twin X Duo Interface is probably the best option for somebody who is looking to get really high quality recordings from their home studio. It's also a great option for someone who is on the go because it's portable and you can plug it right into a laptop and get to work. Today I talk about why I use the Apollo Twin X Duo and hopefully help you to decide whether it is a good option for you. Do you need an interface that is this expensive? Well thats subjective to the user. There are plenty of high quality interfaces out there that will get you great results like the Focusrite or Presonus interfaces. These will only run you about 100 dollars. So why is this interface 1,000 dollars? Is it really that much better than the two other interfaces that I just mentioned. I've owned the two other interfaces that I mentioned and in my opinion the answer is yes. This interface has built in preamps that are far superior to most budget friendly interfaces, but also can emulate the classics. I've been using this for about two years now and I will most likely never get rid of it. Even if I had the money to buy one with more channels I would keep this because of portability alone.
