We also discuss where we think things could go for the fourth episode, and the dynamic between Rick and Michonne in this episode. We see Rick enter the city for the first time, as a sort of introduction to where they will be living, after working as a consignee for a few years. While he walks through the stands, he is interrupted by Jadis. Who still looks like the “Anne” character that she went by. Now technically, she did save his life that day, but it doesn’t change the fact that she has brought him to a place he can’t leave, and practically used him to gain power within the CRM as well. As we hear she is enlisting into the CRM, and she explains that they have a 500 year plan to rebuild the world. But as we know, that doesn’t mean anything to Rick, as he just wants to leave. After this, we cut to just hours ago. As Rick meets Pearl Thorne at her room’s door, right after Okafor’s death was reported. He meets with her, seeking her help with Michonne, and having her stick around, because she is an A as well. As it is what Okafor would want, to change the CRM and its future, from within. To then finally cutting back to the present day and time. Back to Jadis meeting with Rick, as they discuss Michonne’s appearance, and what will happen if they both try to escape. As she has promised that if they leave, she will be forced to go back to Alexandria and kill everyone that they love. And if Jadis is killed, she says that she has placed a file that the CRM higher ups will discover after her untimely demise, exposing everything about Rick to them, which would also result in Alexandria being wiped out. But there is an actual issue with this. Jadis threatening Rick and Michonne with Alexandria’s destruction actually won’t work. Nobody is there anymore, it’s only a Commonwealth outpost now. Everyone important has moved to Ohio, and is staying at the Commonwealth. Now obviously Jadis, Rick and Michonne have no knowledge of this, as they all left before the Commonwealth arc, but this would make things different for them if they did escape, as Alexandria, as well as the Hilltop and Oceanside are basically just gone already anyways. Either way though, Rick has those old tendencies starting to come back, as he promises that he will kill Jadis, just not today. ____________ Explore The Nerdy Multiverse more and follow us in the links down below!
