Uncharted4: A Thief's End Game Play Part 1 | Prologue & The Lure of Adventure In this exciting gameplay video, the story kicks off in medias res with Nathan and Samuel Drake being relentlessly chased by Shoreline mercenaries through a violent storm. As they race towards an important island, the mercenaries in fast speedboats quickly close in. Sam does his best to hold them off, but his efforts fall short, leading him to suggest ramming their boats with their larger vessel. Just as they near the island, a bigger Shoreline ship damages their boat and drops depth charges in an attempt to take them out. The explosion knocks Nate off the boat, but he narrowly avoids the turbines of a passing ship. As Sam repairs the boat, Nate fends off the mercenaries, causing a chain reaction that damages the bigger ship and forces it to retreat. After Sam fixes the boat, they continue toward the island, only to be rammed by the larger ship, wrecking their boat and separating them. Nate passes out, which leads into a flashback explaining how they arrived at this dangerous moment. "The Lure of Adventure" After Nate loses consciousness, he recalls the pivotal night from his childhood that changed everything. In the 1980s, at just 12 years old, he’s scolded by a nun at the Saint Francis Boys' Home for fighting. While the other boys are away on a retreat, Nate sneaks out to meet his older brother, Sam. The two escape the orphanage, and Nate overhears a conversation about him. Sam notices Nate’s bruises and teaches him how to brush off the teasing. The brothers then scale the orphanage rooftops, with Sam helping Nate overcome obstacles. Using a grappling hook, Sam scales a high wall and leaves a rope for Nate to follow. Together, they swing to a building outside the orphanage, where Sam reveals a motorcycle he bought. Nate soon realizes Sam’s plans to leave the country for a job, and though disappointed, he’s still hopeful. Sam refuses to take Nate with him but offers to show him where their father sold their mother's belongings. Nate agrees, and the two ride off together, ready for their next adventure.
