SPICY ENTRY 💥🌶️ using a rope to get into the couloir - Mont Oreb North Couloir

After a small little refill early April we SCORED hard on this mission! Cold powder in a steep and super nice couloir. Sebastian and I set off on the normal Mont Buet route and then traversed across to the summit of Mont Oreb, 1400m of elevation gain which has become a "small" day in these corona times. From there we found the mega spicy entry into the couloir, a super exposed 55 degree traverse under a threatening cornice. Sebastian went first on the traverse while on belay to make sure the snow was stable. Once we got into the couloir I made a few turns to test out the snow, but it was 40-50cm of fresh cold powder, perfect conditions. A few slower turns in the upper section (near 50deg) and then we were able to open up a bit and ride faster. Amazing line, amazing conditions. Stoke is high.
