How to play JOHN DENVER Country Roads | Guitar TUTORIAL

In today's Acoustic Guitar Tutorial we are learning how to play John Denvers CLASSIC song Take Me Home, Country Roads. This song is an epic singalong song, a nice pace Country feel. The chords in the lesson are the original ones from the recording: A, F Sharp Minor, E, D, G, E7. I have demonstrated this using alternating bass notes within the chord strums so we can really get into the Country essence and create the bounce the song has. We also have a couple of simple single note bass runs that take us into different sections. The intro is a classic Travis Picking style on the A chord to set the song up nicely. I have included TAB for this. The lesson includes chord charts, chord sequence graphics and detailed instruction. The song is in the Key of A with a slight deviation in the Middle section with the addition of a G chord.
