Homemade Nativity Scene | Merry Christmas

Making a nativity scene for Christmas is a tradition that was passed on to me from my parents and grandparents. Apart from the figures is all you see from the forest. I've arranged the decorations on a large wooden panel. Toto and Frieda weren't directly involved into making this but one of them did knock one figure down and it broke. I glued it together and everything is fine. A nativity scene is a representation of the Christmas story with human and animal figures in a model landscape depicting the Bethlehem area. The focus is the manger in which Jesus Christ lies as a newborn child. Many nativity scenes combine the images of the Advent season with those of the Epiphany (Three Kings' Day).
