It's fun, so feel free to participate! ❔ 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗟𝗬 𝗔𝗦𝗞𝗘𝗗 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗲𝗻𝗱? It won't! Once I start a stream, I intend to leave it up. 𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝘀? It does have pre-roll ads (the kind you get at the beginning of a video) because I can't disable those, but mid-roll ads (the kind you get in the middle of a video) are disabled. I would have to manually click an "Insert Ad" button to make one play for you, and I don't do that. My channel makes the vast majority of its revenue from YouTube Premium, so I have no reason to play ads. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗜 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻? I'm sorry that happened. I know it's awful to be startled by an ad. One of two things occurred: either your connection to the video was reset and YouTube took that opportunity to play you another pre-roll ad, or you encountered a confirmed bug with YouTube's mid-roll ad algorithm (see this for more information:    • Mid-roll ads  ). If it was the latter, we both lost out because my channel does not even receive any revenue from those – I've looked. I do my very best to provide an interruption-free experience, but I can only do so much. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁? That can happen when the connection gets out of sync. Try restarting your browser or app. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲? It shouldn't be! Something may be wrong on my end. Please use my Discord server at   / discord   to let me know. I do regularly drop by and check to see how things are going, so who knows – we might bump into each other! 𝗪𝗵𝗼 (𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁) 𝗶𝘀 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗯𝗼𝘁? Nightbot is a program that monitors chats. It can perform a few basic moderator activities, like deleting messages that look like they might be spam. If one of your messages gets deleted and Nightbot chides you, don't take it personally! 📝 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠 This is the sound of a Lasko box fan at speed 1 (the lowest setting) combined with deep green noise. The green noise in this video features a profound boost to from 0 to 160 Hz, enriching the lower frequencies for a deep sonic experience. It smoothly transitions to baseline at 230 Hz and then gently attenuates higher frequencies, creating a tranquil, soothing soundscape. Green noise, sometimes described as "the background noise of the world," pairs quite nicely with the sound of the box fan in a way that can help you relax and get some sleep, and may alleviate the effects of tinnitus.
