It's been two years since the KPA attacked the United States. You are a former Marine pilot just trying to keep a low profile. A week ago, you received a draft notice; the Koreans want to recruit you. But they're not the only ones. PLOT: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Robert Jacobs, a former United States Marine Corps helicopter pilot, wakes up and gets out of bed. He hears and answers the front door before he is restrained by KPA military policemen. Their superior officer, Colonel Jeong, has Jacobs arrested for not signing up for the Korean military. Jacobs is violently brought out the apartment in which he is thrown down the stairs and rendering him momentarily unconscious. When Jacobs come to him and along with other residents are dragged into a prison bus that is heading to a re-education camp. As the bus proceed, Jacobs see mass arrests and resistors being executed, which includes shooting a child's parents in front of him - this was done as a response to the American Resistance's actions in the region. The bus carrying Jacobs is soon ambushed by Resistance fighters in which they crashed a truck into the bus and flipping it over. Resistance fighters Connor and Rianna rescues Jacobs and together they make their escape to the suburbs with KPA soldiers chasing them. The three meet up with Boone Karlson, the cell's leader, at a cul-de-sac. Their presence is not welcome by some of the neighborhood's residents as they will attract the KPA's attention in which Boone shares their sympathies and promises to them that they will leave soon. Boone expresses his displeasure at Connor for risking too much to bring the KPA's ire too close to the residents. He turns his attention to Jacobs and explains that the Resistance needs his assistance to help to recover fuel for U.S. military forces that are gathering to launch an assault on San Francisco. The KPA soon quickly finds the Resistance and attacks the cul-de-sac. The Resistance draws the KPA's fire away from the residents. They then make their way to another house and meet up with Hopper, who gives Jacobs a Targerter to control their Goliath combat drone. Jacobs uses Goliath in wiping out KPA soldiers and vehicles. After eliminating considerable enemy forces, the KPA dispatches a UAV to bomb the neighborhood and Jacobs is rendered unconscious.
