Call of Duty: Ghosts - Mission Summary: "Severed Ties" "Severed Ties" is the sixteenth campaign mission in Call of Duty: Ghosts, primarily featuring M1A2 Abrams tank combat to destroy a Federation Satellite Array, enabling friendly astronauts to engage in space and commandeer the LOKI Space Station. The mission begins with the player controlling Badger-Two, an M1A2 Abrams tank, inside a C-17 Globemaster III. Flak damages the plane and injures crew, causing another tank to catch fire. Badger-Two is released, landing safely with other tanks, though its transport crashes. Badger-Two and other tanks engage multiple infantries, GAZ vehicles, T-90 tanks, and Mi-24 Hinds, with A-10s providing air support. Their objective is to destroy mobile rocket launchers to allow Ghosts to land and launch a kinetic rod missile, which will then destroy the Satellite Array. Badger-Two successfully eliminates each mobile rocket launcher. The player's perspective then shifts to Logan Walker. He and Hesh approach the control center, clear it, and Hesh activates and coordinates the kinetic rod. Logan launches the weapon. A radio transmission from a deceased enemy soldier confirms that Rorke is boarding a train preparing to leave launch control. Hesh and Logan pursue and board the train. The perspective returns to Badger-Two. Its final objective is to destroy the V75 Mantis Turrets, which provide air protection. Badger-Two destroys each relay but sustains heavy damage. The remaining commander then boards Badger-One and acts as its gunner. Badger-One subsequently leaves the area as the kinetic missile obliterates the ground array. #CallOfDutyGhosts #CoDGhosts #GhostsCampaign #SeveredTies #TankMission #M1A2Abrams #SatelliteArray #LOKISpaceStation #KineticRod #Rorke #LoganWalker #HeshWalker #CampaignMission #CallOfDuty #FPS #Gaming #VideoGameLore
