Books of original entry
In this lesson we learn about books of original entry which are sales journal, sales return journal, purchase journal, purchase return journal, cashbook, and general journal. These are sometimes also referred to as books of prime entry or or books of first entry. What is sales ledger, what is purchase ledger, and what is general ledger.
