We are called to clothe ourselves with Christ and walk in holiness, just as St. Paul encouraged the early Christians. ✝️ Liturgical Information Liturgical Season: Ordinary Time Week: 21st Week Liturgical Color: Green (hope and growth in the faith) 📖 Today’s Catholic Mass Readings (August 30, 2025): 📜 First Reading: 1 Thessalonians 4:9–11 👉 St. Paul praises the Thessalonians for their love for one another and encourages them to continue living peacefully, working diligently, and minding their daily responsibilities with humility. 📜 Responsorial Psalm: Psalm 98:1, 7–8, 9 👉 “The Lord comes to rule the earth with justice.” God’s justice and righteousness reign supreme, and all creation is called to rejoice in His presence. 📜 Gospel Reading: Matthew 25:14–30 👉 The Parable of the Talents — Jesus teaches us to use the gifts, talents, and opportunities entrusted to us by God. We are not to hide them in fear, but to use them fruitfully for the glory of God and service to others. Faithfulness in little things prepares us for greater responsibilities in the Kingdom. 🌟 Reflection for Today Today’s Gospel challenges us: What are we doing with the gifts God has given us? Each of us has talents — big or small — meant for God’s glory and for helping others. When we use them wisely, God multiplies them. But if we bury them in fear or laziness, we miss His blessing. St. Paul’s reminder about living peacefully and working with humility also encourages us to live in love and service daily, not just waiting for extraordinary moments. True holiness is lived in ordinary tasks with extraordinary faith. Let us pray for the courage to be faithful stewards of God’s blessings, always ready to give an account joyfully when the Lord comes. 🙏 Prayer “Lord Jesus, You have entrusted us with many gifts.
