Marshall DSLCR40 Max Master Volumes for Better Tone? I say NO! In this video I go through the basic amp tones with A/B looks at how the master volume control effects the overall tone. *this was a quick setup test demo the tones on this amp with the master volume max'd vs normal/set. I used only the Zoom recorder for this, which demonstrates the tones in the room well. All tones are dry except for on-amp reverb set to 50% on both channels.
