Brett Mitchell performs a solo piano arrangement of 'When You Wish Upon a Star' from 'Pinocchio' (1940), an animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Productions. The song, written by composer Leigh Harline and lyricist Ned Washington, won the Oscar for Best Original Song, and is widely considered the signature song of The Walt Disney Company. Mr. Harline, Mr. Washington, and Paul J. Smith also won the Oscar for Best Original Score for the project, which became the first animated feature to win a competitive Academy Award.
