DAILY DEVOTIONAL *TOPIC: O LORD RESTORE ME! * DEVOTION, WORD FOR THOUGHT AND PRAYERS WITH APOSTLE ABRAHAM ABODERIN TEXT: Psalm 71:20-21 (NIV) 20 Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. 21 You will increase my honour and comfort me once more. Restoration is the act of bringing back something to its former glory or original state. God is speaking directly to you today that He is watching over you and that He will restore you after all the troubles that you have gone through. What troubles have you been through and what battle scars do you have? God is going to restore you to your former glory and make you great. God has promised to bring restoration to everyone that believes in Him. Job lost everything that he had when the devil came against him, but at the end God restore him to his former glory and Job was given double of everything that he had lost. No matter what you have lost, God is going to restore back to you. God is going to increase your greatness amongst your friends and loved ones. Joel 2:25-26 (NIV) 25 ‘I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten – the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm – my great army that I sent among you. 26 You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you; never again will my people be shamed. In this passage, God has promised that you will eat out of the abundance that He will bless you with and restore all the wasted years. The God that you serve is a God of restoration. O God, my father, by your miracle-working power please restore to me everything I have lost 5. Everything the cankerworm has eaten in my life, be restored in the name of Jesus 6.
