RESIDENT EVIL 7 Walkthrough Gameplay Part 1 - Mia's Possessed Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. This is the eleventh main entry and 24th entry overall in the Resident Evil franchise. Also, this is the first main series installment that is played from a first person perspective. Fear Comes Home: "RESIDENT EVIL returns as the most innovative, immersive and visceral experience yet. Scavenger for weapons and supplies to face the nightmares within. Explore unimaginable horrors to uncover the mystery behind the Baker Estate." You will start the game off with a lovely video recording message from your wife who is away babysitting at a mansion. As you watch, it will soon turn into a husbands worse nightmare. The next video recording will be off your wife Mia begging for help and to stay away from the horrible monster/man lurking inside the mansion. The main character - Ethan (you) quickly pack up and head for the Baker Estate. Ethan begins his road-trip in attempt to locate and save his wife Mia. As Ethan drives down the road leading to the Baker Estate, he is stopped by a tree blocking the path. You must get out on foot and proceed down the trail. The path will eventually lead you to a gate. Inside the gate awaits the massive, haunting, mysterious estate. The gate is chained shut and the intercom is long broken. This estate has been reclaimed by nature over the past few years. The characters in the game refer to it being abandoned for only 3 years, but seems like 30 years. Continue down the path in attempt to find another way in. You'll soon come across an abandoned van with a lot of scattered gear. Keep following the path past the van and pass through the gate with the sign "ACCEPT HER GIFT." Just stay along the path and follow towards the house. You will eventually come to the backyard of the house. Once you enter the house make your way through and collect any supplies you can. At the top of the stairs, you'll find a tape player and a VHS tape. The tape player is used to save your game. Search every room and you will eventually come to a room with a TV. Insert the VHS tape in the TV. This will then transition you into playing a "Prologue" sort of mission. This mission is shot through a body cam of the local Ghost Hunting crew. The horror sites are just beginning to unfold. The conclusion of this prologue ghost hunting mission, is everyone dies or disappears on camera. Once you end the prologue and are playing as Ethan, do the same steps that were done in the mission before. You will venture down into the basement where you will find the prison cells. There will be a room off to the left with a workbench, and pliers located on the workbench. Grab those and break the prison cell open with Mia inside. You and Mia will have a little welcoming reunion after being separated for 3 years. She will then insist she leads the way out of the house. Follow her throughout the basement with hopes to make it out alive. Mia will soon get disoriented and not remember exactly where to go. You guys will come up to a room with a couch inside. Mia then sits on the couch to rest while you search the rest of the basement. Approx. 10 seconds later, there is an intense scream and loud crash. Mia has disappeared and been taken somewhere. Eventually you will be greeted on the stairs of the basement with Mia crawling up the stairs like a spider. She then grabs you and throws you back. The ferocious demon inside begins to take over her body and repeatedly stabs you. At this point, Ethan is critically wounded that he's hardly alive. Once again the demon takes over her body and throws Mia into the wall, resulting in knocking her out. Then she will wake up and attack you again and toss you into another room. This time there will be an axe laying on the floor, use this to fight back with the battle ending in you stabbing Mia in the neck with the axe. Mia then turns back to human and drops to the ground, causing you to think she's really dead this time. DON'T LET THIS FOOL YOU! Mia is once again possessed. However, she uses a screwdriver to stab Ethan's left hand and pin it to the wall. She proceeds to grab a chainsaw and saw off your left arm. Next, you must venture up into the dark horrifying attic.
