Officer involved in downtown shooting

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) Authorities are investigating an officer involved shooting that happened in downtown Albuquerque Tuesday morning. The shooting took place around 8:15 a.m. near Second Street and Central Avenue. One person was shot and taken to a nearby hospital. The events leading up to the shooting are unclear at this time. Albuquerque police are currently investigating the incident. Albuquerque Police Department Chief Ray Schultz is expected to comment on the shooting later in the day.
