On Monday in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, several leaders signed an agreement for the ages, now known as the Gaza peace plan. As he signed the document, President Donald Trump said, "This took 3,000 years to get to this point. Can you believe it? And it’s going to hold up too. It’s going to hold up. “ During a speech later, the president expanded on what the agreement means. We’ve all agreed that supporting Gaza must be done in order to lift up the people themselves, but we don’t want to fund anything having to deal with bloodshed, hatred or terror this has happened in the past. The historic day that began with Trump meeting with the families of the 20 remaining living Israeli hostages, who were reunited with their loved ones at last. During a speech before Israel's parliament, the Knesset, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commended him for his role in making it happen.
