Cooking Musician Presents! Julito Padron 30/11/25

Julito Padron is one of Cuba's premiere trumpet artists and has performed with musicians such as Chucho Valdes, Irakere, Interactivo and will be part of the new Buena Vista Social Club project in Tenerife. This will be followed by a traditional Cuban lunch of ropa vieja, congri (rice and beans), tamales, plantains and postres. Drinks not included, but the bar is open. Finally, at 15:30, a concert with Julito and Cocina Latina; Cocina Latina is Juan Carlos Gonzalez Garcia's (of Charanga Habanera fame) new group. Based in Luxembourg, they include; Heather Madeira Ni, trumpet (The Cooking Musician) Pedro Cardoso, guitar Tanja Silcher, bass Sergio Gozalez Valdes, congas and small percussion Pedro Gonzalez, drumset and cajon Brasserie de l'Arret is the only Cuban restaurant in Luxembourg. Their event space is used for salsa dancing, concerts and events and their Cuban kitchen is one of a kind. Cocina Latina is excited to have a once a month concert and jam session open to all improvisors at all levels starting in 2026, more information coming soon!
