Kaepernick Doesn’t Want People To Perform During Super Bowl Halftime Show… But Why? 🤔
Colin Kaepernick (and his handlers) are making noise yet again due to the upcoming Super Bowl 53 championship game. Many celebrities like Rihanna and Cardi B have declined to perform during the game’s halftime show to show support for Kaepernick and his “protest?” of the NFL. Why they are protesting the NFL isn’t quite clear, but what is clear is how Kaepernick and those that surround him want other entertainers to follow suit. A rapper by the name of Travis Scott had been pressured by Kaepernick and others to not perform during the game, but he refused. He was even able to get the NFL to make a sizable donation to Dream Corps, a charity with many left-leaning initiatives like climate change and prison reform. A report came out that said Kaepernick and Scott had a phone conversation that resulted in mutual respect although they did not agree on the issue of performing during the big game. One of Kaepernick’s handlers (probably the only one that matters) his girlfriend Nessa, came out to refuse the story about her man and Travis Scott. She said that there is no mutual respect for anyone working “against” Kaepernick by performing during the big game. Many people on social media share this same view. Some of them have thrown Gladys Knight under the bus with racial slurs because she will sing the national anthem. Jay-Z is a person that supports Kaepernick’s protest and apparently is supported by Kaepernick. But Jay-Z’s marketing company, Roc Nation, has active NFL players on it’s roster. Where is the outrage for that? Speaking of NFL players, why isn’t there pressure on NFL players to quit the game since the NFL is so bad (for some odd, unknown reason?) Lastly, why does Kaepernick think he should still play in the league if it’s so bad? All of this just reeks of opportunism.
