After announcing his next “roller-coaster spy ride” Bell Bottom, Akshay Kumar revealed that the film is inspired by true events. Akshay is most likely to essay the story of a spy in Bell Bottom. The gripping poster of the film featured the star wearing a coffee brown suit with dark shades and a big moustache - all the right ingredients which make for a suave secret agent. The film is directed by Ranjit M Tewari and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jacky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani. It is set for a release on January 22, 2021 Akshay Kumar's Bell Bottom is all set to release in Theaters on May 28 this year. The film will be a multistarrer film in which Akshay as well as talented actors like Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Huma Qureshi and Adil Hussain are going to be seen in main roles. Bell Bottom is a spy thriller. Akshay Kumar will play the role of a RAW agent in the film. It is based on the plane hijacks that took India by a storm in the early 1980s. Lara Dutta will essay the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, who was in power at that time.
