Female genital mutilation (FGM)

Female genital mutilation (FGM) is considered one of the issues that effect aproximitly 200 million girls worldwide. in the Gulf countries, including Oman. Despite the criminalisation of such practice it has not stopped just because it is legally criminalised. This report reviews a research conducted by the Equality Organization team in cooperation with the European and American network that reveals surprising facts about female genital mutilation in Oman.
