Chamonix Mont Blanc: Lac Blanc

From Argentière we walk via Aiguillette d'Argentière towards La Tête aux Vents. A beautiful route where we have to take a number of échelles or ladders. The ladders are very safe in dry weather, if it is wet or raining I would build in some caution. But it is certainly doable for someone with a fear of heights like me :) From La Tête aux Vents you have a beautiful view of the entire valley of Chamonix Mont Blanc. You have a view of Mont Blanc itself and in open weather you can even see the top of Mont Blanc. After the Tête aux Vents we continue to Lacs des Chésérys to finally arrive at Chalet du Lac Blanc and Lac Blanc itself. Because I don't like to take the same way back, we continue to Refuge de la Flégère. That way we also do a bit of TMB Tour du Mont Blanc GRP. We head in the direction of Plan Praz over le Grand Balcon Chamonix and thus arrive back in Chamonix via Les Praz de Chamonix.
