The Black Mambas

Leitah, a 23 year old Mother is part of anti-poaching unit The Black Mambas, a group of women patrolling the park night and day to keep poachers away. Unarmed, they fearlessly take on the responsibility of being the ears and eyes of the reserve. Fighting against expectations and controversy of this beings a mens job, women being part of this field, they’ve dropped snaring by 76% within the reserve and continue to fight against the war on poaching.
