Roman Urdu: Hazrat Shees (AS), jo ke angrezi mein Prophet Seth kehlaye jate hain, Islam mein shamil mukhtalif mazhabon mein zikr hain. Unhe Hazrat Adam (AS) ke bete ke taur par maana jata hai aur Quran mein ek nek aur hidayat yafta shakhs ke taur par zikr kiya gaya hai. Islami riwayat ke mutabiq, Hazrat Adam ke wafat ke baad, Allah ne Hazrat Shees ko nabi banaya taake woh hidayat dene mein jari rahein. Unhe Hazrat Adam ke baad teesra nabi maana jata hai, aur unka maqsad tauheed ko qaim rakhna aur apne jamat ko hidayat dena tha. Hazrat Shees ko kai sadiyon tak zinda rehne ka khayal hai, jisme unhone apne nasalon ke darmiyan nabuwwat ki warisat ko jari rakha. Unki zindagi ne taqwa, Allah ki itaat, aur ilahi hidayat ko aane wale naslon tak pohanchane mein bharpoor misal di hai. Quran mein Hazrat Shees ke mutaliq mukhtasar hikayat nahi milti, lekin unki ahmiyat unki Allah ke taraf se bheje gaye anbiyaon ki silsile mein hai jo insaniyat ko hidayat dene ke liye aaye. Unki kahani ne nek zindagi guzarne, tauheed ka thaika thaikne, aur dini taleem ko aane wale naslon tak pohanchane ki ahmiyat ko izhar kiya hai.
