So the whole story is about Rodrigo branco's brothers tryin to shake a few extra dollars from him that ends up getting many innocent people and themselves killed. Who came up with that dumb ass plan, and how did they get into the organ business, talking about how tht business is legit. And why did they need max as a fall guy, couldnt they just get one of the local gangs or paramilitary guy to do all the work like exterminating the local gangs like they ended up doin anyway? Victor goes into the organ harvesting business because he doesn't have any money to fund his campaign. The only rich person in the family is Rodrigo. Victor ends up killing off his family so the voters will give him sympathy votes and help him win, which he does. And Marcelo doesn't have anything to do with the organ harvesting business, it's just Victor. I'm not 100% certain why they chose Max but my guess is because he's an outsider. Plus he doesn't understand the language so he wouldn't be able to defend hims. easy explanation...the story goes on too long, and get convoluted. Plot holes abound, but you aren't supposed to notice because you're having fun shooting everyone. I first started questioning the logic in this story after the Favela chapter. Why wouldn't marcelo tell Max he is going to come, was serano always going to kill fabiana, what was maxs plan bursting in there? Not to mention the luck of Max stumbling in to the whore house that a cop investigating all this happens to be in, with all the evidence to lay out, filling in some more exposition. From that point on, the story gets real flimsy, jumping from setup to setup, and characters motivations stop making any sense. And surely, there was a less complicated way to achieve this.If he was already in the organ harvesting business, why try to kidnap and ransom Fabiana? and most of all, how was Max supposed to be the fall guy, and why? Wasn't serrano kinda the fall guy? How much of this went according to plan, and how much just happened? With as many cut scenes and narrating dialog and clues this game has, you would think they would cover their bases...or give the player enough to try and logically fill in what happened on their own. I think they want to do Man on Fire the game, and started the story there and then just tried to up the ante to some hollywood setpiece shooter, and wrote themselves into a corner...and just said f**k it. ulquiorrax (Topic Creator)5 years ago And surely, there was a less complicated way to achieve this.If he was already in the organ harvesting business, why try to kidnap and ransom Fabiana? and most of all, how was Max supposed to be the fall guy, and why? But the Cracha Preto and Comando Sombra are NOT related in any way. You seem confused. Fabiana getting kidnapped had nothing to do with Victor, Comando Sombra wanted ANY one of the Brancos they didn't care which. One of the clues in Serranos hideout is a picture with all the Brancos heads circled and named, including Victor. He was only involved with the Cracha Preto which is a completely different organization. That's why Serrano shot Fabiana because he's just a gang member who only cared about the money and he realized he wasn't getting any, so he shot her out of spite. UFE and Cracha Preto are the organ harvesters. Remember when you see UFE rounding up poor people and favela gang members and then giving them to Cracha Preto? It's really not that hard to figure out. even if the plan did work the only person left that woud have thought max would have been responsible was the idiot brother who was kidnapped when they sent him and the sister to trade off the bag of money anyway. clearly you didnt need to convince him, (and obviously it didnt work because he called Max out and Max convinced him he wasnt in a minute) but even if he didnt convince him it didnt matter because Victor was going to get him kidnapped and killed as well. so ultimately i still cant figure out who Victor was trying to convince. he already had the special police force in his pocket and they (aside from the one detective that would have been killed if he advanced his investigation) had no interest in the entire matter.
