If you’re looking for environmentally friendly children’s crafts that are inspired by history and teach children something about sustainability and respect for nature, then why not have a look at these videos? These projects are informative, fun, creative, and relaxing. Today we learn a bit about how Lunar New Year and the traditions associated with it. Since there are many lucky flowers that are used to decorate homes and businesses during the celebration, we are going to make a sustainable arrangement inspired that incorporates three flowers. Making this arrangement also puts us in contact with natural materials and because we are using fresh flowers that will bring the outdoors into our homes. I found the container for this project in a charity shop four years ago. I have reused it for many different projects. These are fabulous places to find unusual containers for your arrangements, and it promotes the reuse of items and reduction of materials. Objects you will need: Scissors to cut the stems of your flowers A large container, I used a square flower container An orchid Lucky flowers and budding sticks and separate containers to put these in Some flowers are peonies, plum blossom, quince blossom, peach blossom, and narcissus. Any red flower will also be lucky.
