It is submitted to an authority, institution, or organization. There could be a Job Application, Sick Leave Application, or Application to any Bank authority. Format of the Application Letter. It has eight things in it: 1. Sender’s Details 2. Date 3. Receiver’s Details 4. Subject 5. Salutation 6. Body 7. Complementary Close 8.
