That is, until he has to face reality once more. Aerith, even in death, makes her presence known and steps in, knocking some sense into Cloud's head. For his friends and his and Zack's honor, Cloud continues fighting. Little does he know, but Vincent is fighting the same battle for control from Chaos. Imagine just finding your long lost sibling, who everyone presumed killed by the Big Bad ten years ago, and only being able to spend one more day with them before your former comrades try killing you. Because of it, she sacrifices herself to save you. Such is the case for Shalua and Shelke. Hardened by her many years in Deepground, all Shelke can do is stare at the door in shock when Azul mortally wounds her older sister on the other side. Memories of Zack continue to resurface in the Lifestream, showing his final moments. All the people he left behind in that final showdown... The people who helped him up to this point... The fallen soldier was glad that he could now watch over them alongside Aerith. Denzel, like many children, is fooled by the remnants of Sephiroth. Enraged, Cloud and the gang fight back alongside the Turks to save the Planet. When the boy snaps out of their control, he joins the fray, proving that even little kids can kick ass. A year later, there's one more battle to be fought. Vincent takes control once more of himself as the harbinger of anarchy and steps...flies... up to defeat the final foe posing a threat to all life as they knew it. ... Or so they thought.
