Colorado Bull Elk Late Rifle Hunt DOUBLE! | Public Land, DIY, OTC | Long Range | 3rd Season 2022

2022 3rd Rifle November Season, Over-The-Counter, Colorado bull elk HUNT! This hunt was in my home state of Colorado, not too far from my house, with my friend Todd. We grew up hunting together as kids and this hunt was a "homecoming" type of adventure for both of us. We doubled on two legal bulls on the third day of the hunt. In those three days, we hunted in four different units and managed to locate 7 bulls in a rugged canyon on that third evening. Closed the distance from about 1000 yards to just under 700 and was able to execute. The pack out was brutal but really satisfying with the team of guys we had. A great adventure!
