Poha Idli requires no fermentation which makes it a super handy recipe for a busy days breakfast. This is soft and fluffy too. You can substitute eno with baking soda, i have also tried without adding either of them. It wont come out as soft as compared to the ones made with eno yet its airy and delicious. Blog link to the written recipe: http://2dmom.com/instant-idli-poha-no... Notes on Idli rava: Idli rava is different from normal rava(that we make upma or rava idli.) Idli rava is nothing but a coarse rava like texture of rice grits. It is easily available in supermarkets but it is super easy to make at home too. In case you want to make at home, just soak raw rice in water for around 30-40 minutes and air dry them. once they are dried, grind to a coarse rava like textured powder. MAKE SURE YOU COOL THE IDLI FOR 2 MINUTES BEFORE YOU TAKE THEM UT OF THE MOULD OR ELSE IT WILL BE STICKY.
