🇫🇷 England to France Trip 2 - D-Day Beaches Omaha Beach

Settled in our base a tv Omaha Beach it was a short walk up the side of the valley to WN62 which was interesting to explore inside the bunkers, the American Cemetery is also at the top next to WN62 and the scale and tranquil setting is both moving and beautiful. This was very busy in the middle of the day with coach tours so would recommend early morning. The Overland Museum is a short drive down from the American Cemetery and we were pleasantly surprised by the set designs and amount of exhibits. Well worth a visit. Omaha beach itself is huge, and you can’t help but imagine what occurred here yet today the beach is itself a destination for families to enjoy as it is a stunning beach.
