The scion contributes the desired traits, such as fruit type or flower quality, while the rootstock provides a strong root system and can influence growth, disease resistance, and adaptability. 1. Select rootstock 2. Cut into Scion V shape to match the stock. 3. Cut 4 to 5 cm from the middle of the root stock. 4. Match the Scion with the stock. 5.
