For example, This dress is so cheap. I suggest to buy it, it's a bigger bang for your buck. 2. A bad workman always complains his tools. It means a poor workman always looks for an excuse for his poor work. For example, It's really Sara's fault to fail in her exam. But she tried to claim that the questions were difficult and the teacher didn't explain them vety well. It's definitely bad workermen always blames his tools. 3. A big ask It means a favour which is "a lot to ask" of someone. For example, *John had only just got home from his overnight flight when his boss told him to get back to the airport and fly to Paris. It is really "A big ask". 4. A bite to eat It means a small meal , quickly eaten, when time is short. For example, we won't have a time for meal before we travel. So let's get a bite to eat now.
