Dr. Caroline G.L. Cao discusses the importance of students in her interdisciplinary research to improve the design of robotic surgery devices. As a Professor of Biomedical, Industrial, and Human Factors Engineering at Wright State University, Dr. Cao is designing robotic devices to improve touch feedback and make surgery faster and safer for better surgical outcomes. Undergraduate and graduate students work with Dr. Cao in her robotic skills lab for Miami Valley Hospital (MVH) residents in Dayton, Ohio.
