Cleveland area weather forecast: Scattered storms on Friday

Your 11 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Aug. 1, 2024: Humidity will remain high, but temperatures will be slightly lower for Friday. Highs in the low 80s. The chance for showers and a few storms will stick around for much of the day. Some of those could have heavy rain and gusty winds. Highs will try for 80 or so. Looking drier into Sunday. There won't be a huge change in humidity, but we'll have a little more sunshine with highs in the mid 80s. A front will move through late Monday into Tuesday with a chance for showers and it will also usher in below average temperatures with high mainly in the upper 70s for Wednesday and Thursday.
