Hark! The Herald Angels Sing

Happy Christmas, everyone! Every year at Christmas we do at least one Christmas carol as per our tradition. This year we’ve done ‘Hark! The Herald Angels Sing’. If you are a regular at Nine Lessons and Carols, you’d know that this is always the final hymn of the service. I always enjoy singing this one to bring an end to the service. In the final verse, you can hear the sopranos singing the soaring high notes of Willcocks’s descant – they certainly deserve a praise for that! Hope you enjoy our Christmas video this year!
