A long, long time ago, the world was in a very dark place. People had turned away from what was good. They were violent, selfish, and had forgotten how to love and care for one another. God saw all this and was heartbroken. This wasn’t the world He wanted. So, He made a decision—to start over. But not everything was lost. There was one man named Noah. He was different. He lived with honesty, listened to God, and tried to do what was right—even when no one else did. So God spoke to Noah and gave him a mission: “Build a huge boat—a giant ark. I’m going to send a great flood to wash away the evil, but I want you, your family, and two of every kind of animal to be safe.” It sounded crazy—imagine building a boat in the middle of dry land with no ocean in sight! But Noah trusted God. And so, he got to work. Day after day, for years, Noah and his family hammered, sawed, and built the ark. People laughed at him. They didn’t believe a flood was coming. But Noah kept building. Then, the day came. Dark clouds rolled in. The animals—lions, birds, elephants, snakes, and every creature you can imagine—came marching two by two into the ark. Noah, his wife, his sons, and their wives all entered, and God shut the door. And then, it began. Rain poured down. The ground cracked open with water. The entire earth flooded—mountains, houses, everything disappeared underwater. But inside the ark, Noah and the animals were safe, floating above it all. For forty days and nights, the rain didn’t stop. But eventually, it did. The waters slowly began to go down. Noah sent out a dove to see if there was dry land. The first time, it came back. The second time—it returned with an olive leaf. Hope. The flood was ending. Finally, after many months, the ark came to rest on a mountain. God told Noah it was time to come out. The world was new again. Fresh. Clean. Then God made a promise: #NoahsArk #BibleStories #ChristianYouTube #FaithStories #sundayschoolactivities
