RDR 2: Getting a Perfect Deer Pelt for the Legend of The East Satchel

Click "show more" for links and discussion: You will need 7 Perfect Deer pelts. A good spot is the Heartlands east of your Chapter 2 Camp at Horseshoe Overlook. Because you need a lot of them, don't hang around one location. Go to get the other animals in the playlist, and on your way back to Pearson to deliver the pelts, keep and eye out for new Deer. Use the lasso to target a 3 star animal and kill with you knife. It is recommended you have already hunted the Legendary Buck and Crafted the Buck Antler Trinket as this increases your chance of getting a perfect quality pelt.
