Smoothie is like a thick drink/beverage prepared from raw fruits, fresh veggies, dairy products or water, ice et al. In order to make healthier smoothies, it is recommended to use a generous serving of fruits and veggies. Smoothies have a high amount of dietary fibre and are quite thicker than the usual fruit juices that we consume. However, the smoothies that are made using green leafy vegetables called as green smoothies are considered to be the healthiest version of smoothies and are way better than milkshakes. Recently, I fused up fresh mangoes and ripe bananas for making yummy Mango Banana Green Smoothie. Now some of you may wonder about the fact that how did Mango Banana Green Smoothie get a nice, green colour? Well, a portion of spinach leaves did create the required wonder! Along with mangoes, bananas, milk, and honey, I added spinach not just for granting Mango Banana Green Smoothie colour but to give it a healthy twist and a toothsome flavour.
