So today we're not going to talk about a simple re-release; rather, we're going to talk about a cosmic adventure that takes us back to discover two masterpieces. Let's find out if Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 are worth replaying on the Nintendo Switch 2. But is this new version just a nostalgia-fueled HD rescaling, or does it truly live up to the plumber's Platinum crown? Stay here and find out with me!! But, since you're here, and if you're also a fan of this mustachioed plumber, don't forget to subscribe to the channel, like the video, and activate the notification bell so you don't miss any updates. That, that will help me A LOT! That said, a little context: Developed by Nintendo EAD, if you ask many, these two Mario Galaxy games are the absolute pinnacle of the 3D platformer genre. The original Galaxy game came out in 2007 for the Wii, while its sequel came out in 2010. We then had a port of the first game in the VERY limited 3D All-Stars collection, which came out in 2020 for the Switch 1. But this time, things are different. Yes, this new version isn't actually a remake, far from it, but rather a revamped and optimized remaster for the Nintendo Switch 2 hardware.
