Ranking every game I played in 2025 part 11, Reignbreaker is a tragic tale really. A promising Hadeslike cut short before even releasing. Reignbreakers team were seemingly gearing up for early access but ended up having to tie together what they had and put it out. It’s a shame as there are elements here which work well like the visuals and the core mechanic. But it’s run time is padded by a “beat a boss” go back to the start system which always infuriates me. Once you have a clear run at the final boss, the run time is 25 minutes and a not very challenging 25 minutes at that. Such a shame but this one has to go in C tier.
